This year, Toyo Tires’ product introductions included the Extensa A/S II all-season tire for passenger cars, minivans, SUVs, CUVs and light trucks and the Open Country M/T for light trucks. Toyo Tires’ Proxes RR DOT competition tire was selected as the specified tire for the newly-announced Mazda Spec MX-5 Challenge Racing Series, and Toyo Tires is to be named the presenting partner. Toyo also opened an R&D center in Germany and a new tire plant in the Republic of Serbia. In addition, the company said it will strengthen its production capacity at its U.S. tire manufacturing facility and optimize its product mix to reflect market trends.

Mike Graber, Vice President of Sales:
“Dealers can look forward to major product launches in 2020 including three in the light truck and UHP segments, and three for the medium commercial market.
“Our Driven associate dealer program will continue in 2020 with a refreshed look and improved website including new and enhanced tools, features and reporting for distributors and associate dealers.
“We are taking significant actions to protect our dealers’ profitability and stop unauthorized sellers from advertising Toyo products below MAP through online marketplaces.”
