Bridgestone Americas has launched its latest advertising campaign that features NFL All-Pro receiver Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals and National Hockey League (NHL) All-Star defenseman P.K. Subban of the Nashville Predators.
The athletes appear in the tiremaker’s new television commercials that highlight innovation and performance delivered by Bridgestone tires, the company said.
In the commercial “Go Long,” Fitzgerald, known for his long hair and stretching the field, “goes long” to discuss the Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus. The commercial debuts during the NFL season-opening game between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos on Sept. 8.
The commercial “Ice Cream,” features Subban, known for his on-ice performance, testing Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 tires through a winter obstacle course.
Additionally, the campaign includes a series of short digital videos to entertain and educate viewers on the safety and performance benefits of the Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus tire and the Bridgestone Blizzak tire line.
“At Bridgestone, we’re committed to changing the way drivers think about their tires, which is evident through our award-winning advertising and sports marketing efforts,” said Philip Dobbs, chief marketing officer of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations. “Tires are an important safety feature on every vehicle, and we are excited to have Larry and P.K. spotlight the trusted performance of our products in truly unique ways that only these two, world-class athletes can.”
Bridgestone Americas is the Official Tire of both the NFL and NHL.
