Robert Bosch LLC announced it is backing its recently introduced KTS 340 diagnostic tool with a 10-year limited warranty on parts and labor. The advanced diagnostic and service tool, introduced in mid-2010, is designed specifically for use in the North American automotive service market. This 10-year warranty covers all components except normal wear or replacement items, like back-up batteries. All the shop owner needs to do to maintain the warranty coverage is to continue his subscription to ESI[tronic] database updates and not physically damage or abuse the tool, Bosch said.
