Purolator Launches New Group 7 Line

The Group 7 by Purolator filter line, designed specifically for independent repair shops, offers reliable and efficient performance at competitive pricing. The filters, distributed through warehouse distributors and jobbers to service dealers, are available throughout the U.S. and Mexico for virtually all popular domestic and import cars and light trucks, the company says.

Following OEM trends, Group 7 filters are adopting oil filter size standardizations, which allow for fewer part numbers, reducing stocking requirements. In addition to oil and air filtration lines, new this year are cabin air filters and in-line, element cartridge and spin-on fuel filters with broad vehicle coverage. The Group 7 by Purolator 2010 Catalog (G7CT10) features 200 new part numbers in three languages (English, French and Spanish), and includes technical bulletins, an engine conversion chart, new products guide, superseded part numbers and quick change cross reference tables. Also available is Purolator’s 2010 Automotive Filter Catalog (PUCT110) that covers a wide range of filter applications from model year 1985 to 2010 for domestic and import cars, vans, SUVs and light trucks, as well as motorcycles and ATVs.
