OTC Offers Solution for WiFi Connectivity

OTC, an SPX brand, launched a new service, PegisysConnect Wireless Solutions, to help Pegisys users explore the potential of wireless diagnostics and maximize productivity with their diagnostic system. OTC teamed up with Best Buy for Business to provide a wireless hardware and installation solution for the repair shop. Included is a wireless router, on-site installation – including firewall – and assistance in configuring a shop’s diagnostic handset/VCI to the wireless network to create a secure, reliable wireless network within the shop’s service area, according to OTC. Installation is provided through one of more than 700 Best Buy locations throughout the U.S.

NRS Brakes has designed galvanized brake pads for the Tesla Model 3 specifically for electric/hybrid vehicle technology.

The company says (ADAS) vehicles demand a higher quality of all parts, especially safety items such as brakes.

As moisture creeps through the porous nature of the friction material, it is compromising the untreated backing plat, NRS Brakes says. Usually, moisture in the friction material is dissipated as heat is created through normal braking routines.
