New Radar All-Season UHP Tire from Omni-United

The Radar Verenti R6 All-Season UHP Tire features an asymmetrical tread design and will be M&S rated with a UTQG rating of 400 AA A. It is currently available in sizes 205/50R17, 215/50R17, 225/50R17, 235/45R17 and 225/40R18, with more 17- to 20-inch wheel diameter sizes to follow throughout the rest of 2011.

Omni-United has introduced the Radar Verenti R6 All-Season UHP Tire, the latest addition to the company’s flagship Radar tire brand. The asymmetrical tread design tire will be M&S rated with a UTQG rating of 400 AA A.

It is now available in sizes 205/50R17, 215/50R17, 225/50R17, 235/45R17 and 225/40R18. The Verenti size expansion will continue throughout the rest of the year with the most popular OE and aftermarket sizes in 17- to 20-inch wheel diameters, the company added.

The tiremaker announced the Radar line will have more than 200 SKUs by the end of 2011, all of which will support the brand’s “Mobilizing Hope” campaign with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. To support the cause, Omni will donate 25 cents for every Radar tire sold with a goal of raising $1 million through May 2012.

NRS Brakes has designed galvanized brake pads for the Tesla Model 3 specifically for electric/hybrid vehicle technology.

The company says (ADAS) vehicles demand a higher quality of all parts, especially safety items such as brakes.

As moisture creeps through the porous nature of the friction material, it is compromising the untreated backing plat, NRS Brakes says. Usually, moisture in the friction material is dissipated as heat is created through normal braking routines.
