Ranger Products said its new high-powered RP-20FC oil filter crusher applies an impressive 10 tons of pure, air-operated pressure to just about any used oil filter, easily reducing it to 25% of its original size and removing 95% of the oil. An X-shape bevel in the press head pre-aligns filters for an absolute vertical press, so even the popular 8-inch tall filters for Cummins and power-stroke diesel-powered vehicles fold beneath the force. With an integrated collection chamber and collector downspout for simple oil recovery, this no-mess design operates cleanly and efficiently to reduce spill hazards. Also available is an optional stand that is fabricated from rugged steel, has casters and accommodates a 5-, 16- or 55-gallon drum, the company said.
