Pirelli ranked highest in the performance sport segment for the second year in a row in the J.D. Power 2015 Original Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction Study.
This is the second year in a row and fourth time in the last six years that Pirelli has been ranked highest in the study for the performance sport segment.
J.D. Power presented Pirelli an award, marking this achievement.
“It is a true honor to be recognized once again as the highest ranked tire in the performance sport segment in this year’s J.D. Power OE study,” Pierluigi Dinelli, chairman and CEO for Pirelli Tire North America, said. “We’re thrilled that Pirelli tires have received that vote of confidence from consumers in North America, where we have been strongly committed to bring Pirelli’s trademark R&D, technology and premium quality into products that are relevant for their driving needs and the market.”
Pirelli achieved an index score of 693 out of 1,000 for the performance sport segment in the study, which analyzes consumer satisfaction with original equipment tires. The study also measured satisfaction in luxury and passenger car segments. Michelin ranked Michelin highest among those two segments.
