The new MT7 absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery is now available from Interstate Batteries. Available in sizes 34, 65 and 78, the MT7 is ideal for handling the cranking and reserve power demands of today’s highly accessorized vehicles, according to the maker. The battery is ideally suited to accommodate the cycling demands for drivers who plug in additional devices, such as cellphones, backup sensors and GPS navigators. Additionally, the MT7 features Interstate’s Pure Matrix Power, a 99.99 % pure, non-alloy lead in ultra-thin plates, the company added.

NRS Brakes has designed galvanized brake pads for the Tesla Model 3 specifically for electric/hybrid vehicle technology.

The company says (ADAS) vehicles demand a higher quality of all parts, especially safety items such as brakes.

As moisture creeps through the porous nature of the friction material, it is compromising the untreated backing plat, NRS Brakes says. Usually, moisture in the friction material is dissipated as heat is created through normal braking routines.
