Falken Sponsors MLB All-Star Game

FalkenMLBAllStarSumitomo Rubber North America’s Falken brand will serve as the Official Tire of the 2016 MLB All-Star Game.

As part of the sponsorship, the tiremaker will host an interactive area at the MLB All-Star FanFest July 8-12, inside the San Diego Convention Center.

“We’re at the midway point in our first year as the Official Tire of MLB and we couldn’t be more enthused about our partnership,” said Rick Brennan, vice president of marketing for Falken. “Through our sponsorship with MLB, we’ve been able to expose our brand and products to many new audiences throughout the US in a relatively short amount of time.”

“With our FanFest experience, we’ve designed it to be very engaging,” added Brennan. “We have an extremely detailed R/C track replicating the streets of San Diego. We also have a photo booth where fans can ‘Grip the Moment’ by simulating a home run-saving catch and then share the image on social media. We are excited about having thousands of fans experience the booth during the five-day event.”

In addition to its FanFest experience, Falken will be featured in televised broadcasts of the T-Mobile Home Run Derby and 2016 MLB All-Star Game presented by MasterCard.
