Bridgestone Americas’ educational initiatives have been recognized with awards from two organizations, Chief Learning Officer and Brandon Hall. Bridgestone’s Consumer Tire Education website, mybridgestoneeducation.com, received the Learning in Practice Gold Award for Blended Technology from Chief Learning Officer and the Gold Award for Best Sales Training Program from Brandon Hall.
Mybridgestoneeducation.com was launched earlier this year. The online curriculum designed specifically for sales associates deploys state-of-the-art techniques and technologies for training, including gamification, video and animation, said the tiremaker.
“Our education team is committed to innovating and pushing ourselves to discover and create the best educational opportunities possible for our Bridgestone retailer network,” said Gregg Trosper, director of consumer tire education at Bridgestone. “It’s exciting to see our hard work recognized by Chief Learning Officer and Brandon Hall. We view our efforts this past year as the perfect springboard to continue to build specialized courses for sales associates and managers in 2015.”
