AutoTex Pink has signed on Jody DeVere as a spokesperson for its all-pink windshield wiper products.
DeVere is president and CEO of AskPatty.com, which provides tire dealers with education to help them become more "female friendly," and is a contributor to Tire Review. She will be on hand at AutoTex Pink’s booth at the upcoming AAPEX Show in Las Vegas.
Since its introduction in 2009, AutoTex Pink was the first automotive product that is certified female friendly and only wiper blade that donates its proceeds to breast cancer research. AutoTex Pink wiper blades previously came only in a standard black color with a small pink ribbon promoting the cause of breast cancer research and awareness. Now they are also available in pink, and are available in metal or frameless and fit over 98% of vehicles on the road.
“Come October’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, shelves are stocked with pink products, meant to catch the consumer’s eye and heart. Although we celebrate October whole-heartedly, we approach our efforts year round. After all, breast cancer affects people 365 days a year,” said founder of AutoTex Pink Paula Lombard.
