The Yokohama Rubber Co.’s Advan Sport V105 has been selected by Volkswagen of America as the tire on its Atlas Cross Sport GT Concept, unveiled in July. The concept model is outfitted with 285/35ZR22 106Y size V105 tires, the company said.

Based on Volkswagen’s Atlas Cross Sport for the North American market, the Atlas Cross Sport GT Concept is a high-performance model with a 2.0-liter TSI engine capable of generating more than 300 horsepower. The concept model has been redesigned from the current production model’s five-seat interior to a four-seat configuration, and it features a “Kingfisher Blue” body color, the company said.
