Goodyear OE on the 2018 Jeep Wrangler

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has been chosen as original equipment supplier for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the Jeep will be fitted with Goodyear’s Wrangler AT Adventure with Kevlar in sizes 255/70R18 and 245/75R17.

The Wrangler AT Adventure with Kevlar, Goodyear’s most versatile and best performing off-road tire, features DuPont Kevlar for added strength, providing superior traction through rain and snow, the tiremaker said. The tire is also made with Durawall Technology, which prevents sidewall cuts.

The announcement continues a longstanding relationship between Goodyear and Jeep, which dates back to 1941, the tiremaker said.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has named Ryan Waldron as president of the company's Americas business unit, reporting to Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Stewart. He succeeds Steven R. McClellan, who retired on April 1.
