Pirelli Signs on as LA Auto Show Tire Sponsor

Pirelli has been named the “Official Tire of the Los Angeles Auto Show” in a new multi-year deal struck by show organizers and Pirelli Tire North America.

LAAS-LogoPirelli has been named the “Official Tire of the Los Angeles Auto Show” in a new multi-year deal struck by show organizers and Pirelli Tire North America.

The deal, which runs through the 2017 L.A. Auto Show, will give Pirelli on-site presence to feature special guests and product displays, as well as extensive indoor signage and integrated digital marketing efforts with the event.

“It’s an exciting time for Pirelli in the U.S. and this new affiliation with the Los Angeles Auto Show reflects our growing presence and investment in the region,” said PTNA chairman and CEO Paolo Ferrari. “Los Angeles and Southern California in particular are exciting markets for us to engage, given the incredibly passionate car enthusiast culture that exists there and demand for high performing, innovative vehicles.”

Beyond the Los Angeles Auto Show, Pirelli is also a sponsor of the Los Angeles Dodgers and of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.

“We’re looking forward to activating all of these partnerships to engage our dealer network and showcase the brand in a market with the largest potential for Pirelli, not just in the US, but the world,” said Rafael Navarro, PTNA vice president of media relations and motorsports.

The 2014 L.A. Auto Show takes place from Nov. 21-30 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
