Toyo Shows New iPad App, a Resource for Dealers

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.’s new iPad app, now available on iTunes, is being displayed at the tiremaker’s Global Tire Expo/SEMA Show booth (#40029).

Developed in collaboration with Source Interlink Media’s MediaWorks and Mind Over Eye divisions, the app provides easy access to Toyo’s product information, including training, videos, size and specifications, brochures and more, according to the company.

The app is designed to will help the Toyo Tires sales team train dealers on the company’s products, while dealers can use it to train their own staff and to sell in the showroom. Users can access information such as a product overview, product features and benefits, size information and specifications, and multi-media (product videos, commercials and photos), Toyo said.

In addition, people can view media stories that were published about the specific product they are viewing. Other content available includes PDF product brochures, PDFs of select issues of the Toyo Tires dealer magazine Connect, links to the company’s website and access to a password-protected dealer training site. Viewers also can access Toyo’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages right from the app.

“Printed marketing materials are quickly dated as they are produced only a few times per year,” said Amy Coleman, senior director of marketing for Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “Our new iPad App is a dynamic marketing tool that provides immediate access to the most current product information, making it easier to teach dealers, their staff and consumers about the benefits of Toyo tires.”

The app currently features 18 of Toyo’s most popular products, with plans to expand and include the entire lineup by early next year, the tiremaker added.
