K&M Tire Acquires Warehouses in Texas

KM-Tire-LogoDelphos, Ohio-based K&M Tire has purchased the Texas assets of Area Wholesale Tire. This includes three warehouses in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.

The purchase, effective Sept.15, will also include tire inventory, assets, and a customer list.

According to K&M Tire, the Dallas and Houston warehouses will combine with K&M Tire’s existing operations in those cities. San Antonio will be a new market for K&M Tire.

“We are very excited about this opportunity with Area Wholesale Tire to expand our footprint and add to our customer base in Texas,” said Cheryl Gossard, K&M Tire vice president. “We welcome all of Area Wholesale Tire’s Texas employees and customers to our team. We are looking forward to growing our business in Texas with them. Customer service is our number one priority so it is extremely important for us, and we will be working closely with everyone involved to ensure a seamless transition. We want to make sure that all of our customers receive the top notch service we feel they deserve and have come to expect from K&M Tire.”

Area Wholesale Tire will continue to operate its facilities in other states.
