BKT Featuring New Tires at MINExpo

BKT USA Inc., a subsidiary of Balkrishna Industries Ltd., will showcase several new additions to its Earthmax range during the MINExpo International 2016 (booth 8109).

The new tires include the Earthmax SR 46, Earthmax SR 25 and Earthmax SR 49.

For use on rigid haul trucks, the Earthmax SR 46 has been specifically designed to carry heavy loads while offering resistance to cuts and chips as well as a long tire life-cycle, BKT said. The tire features an all-steel casing as well as a special lug block pattern with circumferential groove to optimize the cornering performance with minimum tread face damage.

The all steel radial Earthmax SR 25 is designed for use on motor graders and loaders operating in the most severe road construction or mining applications. The tire features a non-directional tread that offers traction, stability and self-cleaning properties, BKT said.

The Eathmax SR 49 is another all steel radial tire. Engineered for loaders and dozers, the tire provides optimum performance in severe mining operations, BKT shared.
