Vanden Heuvel Wins Lucas Oil Midwest League Off-Road Racing Series on Street-legal Klever R/T KR601 Tires

Mikey Vanden Heuvel didn't just win the 2018 Kenda Tire Lucas Oil Midwest League Off-Road Racing Series Pro 2, he did it on street-legal Kenda Klever R/T KR601 Tires.

Mikey Vanden Heuvel has won the 2018 Kenda Tire Lucas Oil Midwest League Off-Road Racing Series Pro 2 on a set of street-legal Klever R/T KR601 tires.

Vanden Heuvel finished 4th at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway in the final race of the season to edge out Chad Hord to take the championship. According to Kenda, Vanden Heuvel ran the entire season on the same Klever R/T KR601 tires that the company offers to consumers.

“Kenda is very proud of Mike, the Flying Dutchman team and how the tires performed this season,” stated Brandon Stotsenburg, VP of Automotive at Kenda Tire. The R/T tire is one of Kenda’s newer tires breaking into the rough terrain segment which allows for the durable grip in tough terrains like a M/T tire, yet a smooth and quiet ride you’d find in an A/T tire.”

Cosmo Tires, distributed by Tire Group International, has introduced changes to its mileage warranty and road-hazard programs which will now feature a mileage warranty of 40,000-70,000 miles for all passenger and light truck tires offered.

“Our products are over-built and tested on the most rigorous tracks and terrains around the globe and this reflects our investments in manufacturing and quality. Now, all passenger and light truck tires carry Cosmo’s road hazard and mileage warranty ranging from 40,000-70,000 miles," said Dominick Montouri, chief strategy officer of Tire Group International, said.
