Tim Baker Takes Over Helm of Triangle Tire Tech Center

Tim Baker is replacing Ed Montgomery, who has retired from the company.

Longtime tire industry engineer Tim Baker has been promoted to deputy general manager of A3T, the technical center for Triangle Tire in Akron, Ohio.

Baker joined Triangle Tire in 2014 and most recently served as project engineer. He is replacing Ed Montgomery who has retired from the company. His experience includes working for both Bridgestone/Firestone and Kumho Tires as a tire design engineer.

“We’re committed to enhancing the technical capabilities of this office to support Triangle Tire’s global development efforts, particularly product development initiatives for the North American market,” Baker said.
