N.C. Senator Keynote Speaker for Association Convention

Senator Tony Rand, majority leader, will be the guest speaker at the North Carolina Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association’s annual meeting on March 7, giving a state of the state address based primarily on the “business climate” of the tire industry.

“This is exciting news for us and we feel very privileged to have this opportunity,” said NCTDRA executive director Reece Hester. “Senator Rand is very pro-business and has helped several companies in our industry remain resourceful and committed to our state, including Goodyear and Bridgestone, which both have factories in North Carolina.

Hester noted the association is “very active with our general assembly and understand the importance of a positive relationship with our constituents. McCarthy Tire Service opens commercial wheel refreshing facility

According to the company, the facility has the ability to refinish over 1,000 wheels per day.

McCarthy Tire Service recently opened a new in-house commercial wheel refinishing facility. According to the company, the facility has the ability to refinish over 1,000 wheels per day and technicians will utilize equipment for inspection, surface preparation, pre-treatment, and automated coating techniques at the facility.
