Monro Opens Mr. Tire in Chambersburg

Monro Muffler/Brake-owned Mr. Tire Auto Service Center has opened its latest location in Chambersburg, Pa.

The opening gives Monro Muffler/Brake 783 stores across the country.

“We are very pleased to now have 16 Mr. Tire locations in Pennsylvania as an added convenience to our customers,” said Joseph Tomarchio Jr., tire group president for Mr. Tire.

Mr. Tire said it offers a “no hassle tire-buying experience” with its On the Rim & Out the Door pricing that includes free mounting, balancing, valve stems and lifetime tire rotation. All tires come with a 200% price guarantee and 30-day test drive, the company said.

Mr. Tire locations offer Goodyear, Michelin, BFGoodrich, Bridgestone, Continental, Dunlop, Falken, Firestone, General, Hankook, Kelly, Pirelli and Yokohama brand tires, as well as “several low-priced economy brands.”

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has named Ryan Waldron as president of the company's Americas business unit, reporting to Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Stewart. He succeeds Steven R. McClellan, who retired on April 1.
