The State and Provincial Association Executive’s Group (part of Tire Industry Association Executives, or TIAE) will hold an "Association Leadership" meeting in conjunction with this year’s SEMA Show/Global Tire Expo.
"This meeting is designed to focus on areas of association management that will effectively and efficiently build stronger platforms to assist in the changing environment of today’s associations," said Bob Bignell, TIAE chairman.
Mary Byers, co-author of "Race to Relevance," will present the group’s workshop and roundtable and will identify ongoing changes and demands facing associations, as well as how to apply corrective procedures to help our associations achieve these goals. The event is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas.
"This is the best available ‘learning skills’ program for our industry’s group of leaders that ultimately assists the industry companies we work for," Bignell added.
