The conference dates were changed to avoid a scheduling conflict with the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association and to concentrate all the events into one “action-packed” day based on member feedback from the 2008 conference, said Steve Handschuh, president and COO of AASA.
The conference will include a welcome reception Mar. 17, following meetings of the AASA Board of Governors and AASA councils. Events on Mar. 18 include information given by aftermarket retailers and distributors, best practice presentations by members and panel discussions of trends and challenges affecting automotive aftermarket suppliers.
