Va. Shop Joins Ranks of AskPatty.com Certified Dealers

Blanchard’s Tire & Auto Center in Carrollton, Va., is the newest member of the growing network of AskPatty.com Certified Female Friendly Tire and Service Centers. The program was developed jointly by AskPatty.com and Tire Review magazine, and is available to tire retailers across North America.

“Askpatty.com aims to keep women safe, informed and comfortable. It makes sense for Blanchard’s to sign up with Askpatty.com because these are our goals, too,” said Charles Blanchard, president of Blanchard’s Tire & Auto Centers.

To become AskPatty.com Certified Female Friendly, staff at Blanchard’s Carrollton location completed an extensive training program on how to best serve women. The employees will participate in year-round instruction to enhance their awareness, appreciation, and commitment to a female-friendly service experience. Blanchard’s will also benefit from a unique marketing support program designed to reach out and build lasting relationships with women customers.

In conjunction with AskPatty.com, Blanchard’s has launched a female-focused micro-website that provides the tools and resources most requested by women. The micro-site gives women the ability to access coupons and discounts and learn more about car buying and maintenance online from the comfort of their home or office. The micro-site is easily accessed by searching on AskPatty.com, or by going directly to the Blanchard’s Carrollton Tire & Auto Center website.

Founded in 1970, Blanchard’s Tire and Auto Centers is a three-location, family owned business.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has named Ryan Waldron as president of the company's Americas business unit, reporting to Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Stewart. He succeeds Steven R. McClellan, who retired on April 1.
