Tire Pros, a network of independent tire dealers, is demonstrating its continued commitment to its local communities in working with Magic Moments to help raise money to give a child with a life threatening illness a special moment that they will never forget. During the month of June, Tire Pros of Central Alabama put together a campaign called “Tires for a Moment” to help raise money for Magic Moments. During the month, every tire that participating Tire Pros locations sold, $1 per tire was donated to Magic Moments.
The goal of the campaign was to help Emma, a five-year-old girl battling cancer, get her moment. Her dream was to go to Walt Disney World with her family. Emma has been battling cancer this year, and Tire Pros says the group was hoping to give her the chance to forget about her illness and just enjoy being a kid. To help, Tire Pros of Central Alabama dealers decided to make her dream a reality.
Instead of asking for donations only and in keeping with Tire Pros “Hassle-Free Guaranteed” slogan, the Tire Pros of Central Alabama decided to give a dollar per tire sold. By doing this and pushing hard, its 16 locations located in Central Alabama were able to raise $4,845. This was enough to send Emma and her family to Walt Disney World, exceeding the goal of $4,500.

The group is currently working with Magic Moments to setup a time to surprise Emma with her trip.
