Tire Industry Association Now Accepting 2018-2019 Board Nominations

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is accepting nominations to be on its 2018-2019 Board of Directors.

Each elected member will serve a three-year term and may be re-elected to serve two more three-year terms. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, May 7, 2018.

Positions on the board are open to those that fulfill the following requirements:

Employed by a TIA member company
Member company has been in good standing for two consecutive years prior to election
Represents a manufacturer, tire dealer, wholesale distributor, supplier, recycler or retreader

Any TIA member in good standing or an official representative of an industry association may recommend candidates to the nominating committee in accordance with TIA bylaws. Self-nominations are also welcomed.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has named Ryan Waldron as president of the company's Americas business unit, reporting to Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Stewart. He succeeds Steven R. McClellan, who retired on April 1.
