Get Your Submissions Ready for ACPN Excellence Awards

The Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN) has opened up applications for the ACPN Knowledge Excellence Awards, which will be presented at the ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference in April in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Auto Care Association has announced that the Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN), a community of the Auto Care Association, is accepting entries for the 45^th annual ACPN Content Excellence Awards.

The awards, which will be presented at the conference from April 15-18 in Fort Worth, Texas, are chosen from a variety of categories including: paper catalogs; web-based catalogs; mobile catalog applications; receiver’s choice; and ACES and PIES Data, a new category that recognizes source data and adherence to XSD validations.

Submissions for all award categories are due by Jan. 19, 2018. Interested participants must have an active membership with ACPN.

Goodyear names new Americas unit president

Ryan Waldron joined Goodyear in 2003, serving in leadership roles in finance and supply chain for multiple North America business areas.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has named Ryan Waldron as president of the company's Americas business unit, reporting to Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Stewart. He succeeds Steven R. McClellan, who retired on April 1.
