Hankook Extends Racing Partnership

Hankook Tire Co. has extended its partnership with FIA Formula 3 European Championship for another three years. This is the second time the tiremaker has extended its contract with FIA.

With the partnership, Hankook will continue to supply its Ventus Race F200 racing tires for the FIA Formula 3 racing teams’ 225 hp racing cars.

“Hankook has been focusing especially on motorsport for young new drivers for years. For this reason, we are particularly pleased to have extended our successful partnership with the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Our extremely active and friendly cooperation set us apart, and we are very proud of this,” said Manfred Sandbichler, Hankook’s motorsport director in Europe

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has named Ryan Waldron as president of the company's Americas business unit, reporting to Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Stewart. He succeeds Steven R. McClellan, who retired on April 1.
