TIA Ag Tire Safety Training Offered to ATG Dealers

Alliance Tire Americas will provide safety training to its farm tire dealers with the Tire Industry Association (TIA) Basic Farm Tire Service program.

Alliance will offer free training kits valued at $295 to new dealers and distributors who sell Alliance, Galaxy or Primex farm tires, said Bruce Besancon, ATA’s vice president of marketing Bruce Besancon. Alliance has already given kits to more than two-dozen dealers.

“This is one way we can contribute to our customers’ safety and success, as well as helping promote professionalism across the entire industry,” Besancon said. “There is the potential for too many accidents in dealing with large ag tires, and this program teaches the industry standard and approved methods for servicing them safely. We’d love to put these kits in the hands of all our dealers so they have a great tool to teach their personnel the proper procedures for this demanding work.

“If we can help every one of their employees have a safer and more productive experience at work, we’ve really accomplished something important,” he adds.

Alliance Tire Group dealers interested in receiving free copies of the TIA program can contact the company at [email protected].
