Kenda Expands Size Offerings

Kenda USA has released 12 new tire sizes, with ten of the sizes in its new VezdaEco low rolling resistance tire, to meet growing demands for larger fitments.

“The demand for the VezdaEco has taken off recently and we believe the new sizes will continue the momentum with our customers,” said Eric Yang, automotive marketing manager of Kenda USA. “The expanded size range will not only add to the coverage in the alternative fuel vehicle market, but cover several new OE models.”

The new sizes being released are 235/65R16 103T, 235/65R18 106H for the Kenetica. New sizes for the VezdaEco are 215/55R16 93H, 215/55R18 95H, 205/50R16 87V, 235/55R18 100V, 225/45R18 95W, 225/55R18 98H, 235/55R17 99V, 225/55R17 99V, 245/50R18 100V, and 225/40R18 92H.

Goodyear names new Americas unit president

Ryan Waldron joined Goodyear in 2003, serving in leadership roles in finance and supply chain for multiple North America business areas.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has named Ryan Waldron as president of the company's Americas business unit, reporting to Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Stewart. He succeeds Steven R. McClellan, who retired on April 1.

"I am thrilled to announce him as president of Goodyear's Americas business and have enormous confidence that under his leadership, both the company and our customers will reach even greater levels of success."
