Sailun Hosts 'Parent Tested, Parent Approved' Track Day

In July, Sailun invited 11 members of Parent Tested, Parent Approved (PTPA) – a product awards program with a parent-testing community and seal of approval – to a track day at Powerade Centre in Brampton, Ont., with the goal of providing education about tire safety, value and performance. Paired with professional drivers, participants were able to drive through wet and dry slaloms, through a pre-designed course set to experience Sailun’s Atrezzo Z4+ tires.

“They learned…how a budget-friendly tire does not have to compromise safety or performance,” the tiremaker said, adding participants also “learned how to select a tire for the family vehicle and how maintenance and regular tire checks are essential for the longevity and safety of a tire.”

In addition, Sailun has announced that its Atrezzo all-season and Ice Blazer winter lineups have been awarded the PTPA Media Seal of Approval for product quality. “Evaluated and reviewed through PTPA’s testing program that is composed of the largest volunteer parent testing community in North America, the seal signifies the exceptional quality of Sailun tires,” the tiremaker said.

Discount Tire & Service Centers has a new sponsorship deal with the Los Angeles Angels for the 2024 season. Discount Tire said this partnership will not only benefit its customers with season-long promotions and giveaways but will also support local non-profits.
