Cincinnati-based Tire Discounters has plans to open several new locations in the greater Chattanooga, Tenn., area over the next several months. Three locations in Hixson, Brainerd and Fort Oglethorpe are expected to open this fall with additional locations being added by the end of 2015, the dealership said.
“Based on the great success we have had in Nashville over the past year and the growth in Chattanooga, we think this will be a strong market for us,” said Tire Discounters CEO Paul Brunner. “We’d love to have eight or nine locations in the Chattanooga market, however, our focus is not on just trying to be the biggest. Rather, we want to make sure we get the right people in place and build our business on world-class customer service.”
Tire Discounters recently opened its second distribution center in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The 67,200-square-foot warehouse has helped the company better service its stores and customers in the greater Nashville area, the dealership said.
Tire Discounters currently employs more than 1,000 people in almost 100 stores across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee.
