TIA Accepting Board of Directors Nominations

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is accepting nominations for the 2017-2018 TIA Board of Directors until May 8, 2017.

 

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is accepting nominations for the 2017-2018 TIA Board of Directors until May 8, 2017.

Each board of director will serve a three-year term and may be re-elected to serve two additional, three-year terms, TIA said.

Individuals who wish to serve on the board of directors must meet the following requirements:

  • Employed by a TIA member company
  • Member company has been in good standing for two consecutive years prior to election
  • Represents a manufacturer, tire dealer, wholesale distributor, supplier, recycler, or retreader

TIA members in good standing or an official representative of an industry association may recommend candidates to the Nominating Committee. Self-nominations are also welcome.

“The success of our association is a reflection of the unwavering commitment from our board leadership,” said Roy Littlefield, executive vice president of TIA. “With every nomination cycle, we are hopeful that all new members will be a vital asset to TIA and our pledge to tire safety.”

A nomination form is available at tireindustry.org and must be received no later than 5:00 pm (EST) on May 8.
