TDAC Trade Show Approaches

The Tire Dealers Association of Canada (TDAC) has sold out booth space for the upcoming trade show and conference in Niagara Falls. The 2014 TDAC National Trade Show and Conference is set for Sept. 18–20 at the Marriott Niagara Falls and Scotiabank Convention Centre.

The conference kicks off with a President’s Tailgate Party on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. Dealers are invited to wear their favorite team jerseys and prizes will be given away, including two round trip tickets and three nights stay to the Global Tire Expo & SEMA in Las Vegas.

In addition to exhibitors, the convention features keynotes from Dave Chilton, author, and Donald Cooper, international business speaker and coach. Additionally, training sessions on Sept. 20 will cover industry trends and outlooks, and a scrap tire overview.

Cosmo Tires, distributed by Tire Group International, has introduced changes to its mileage warranty and road-hazard programs which will now feature a mileage warranty of 40,000-70,000 miles for all passenger and light truck tires offered.

“Our products are over-built and tested on the most rigorous tracks and terrains around the globe and this reflects our investments in manufacturing and quality. Now, all passenger and light truck tires carry Cosmo’s road hazard and mileage warranty ranging from 40,000-70,000 miles," said Dominick Montouri, chief strategy officer of Tire Group International, said.
