SKF appointed George Garner as vice president of automotive sales for the company’s Vehicle Service Market (VSM) North America Business Unit.

In his new role, Garner will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for SKF VSM in the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, he will provide support for the SKF automotive aftermarket sales team in Mexico as needed.

“George’s automotive aftermarket sales background and past experience will serve him well in his new role,” said Tom O’Brien, president of the VSM North America Business Unit. “We are pleased to welcome George as the new vice president of automotive sales.”

Previously, Garner served as the NAPA sales director for SKF, spearheading the marketing and sales activities in the U.S. and Canada, the company said.

Garner has more than 25 years of automotive aftermarket experience and has been with SKF since 2001.
