This holiday season’s Christmas displays aren’t just made of lights and ribbon, a tire shop in Rockford, Ill., has created a Christmas Tree made entirely of commercial and OTR tires, local media reports.
Tredroc Tire Services built the 9 thousand-pound Christmas tree made of the tires inside Sinnissippi Park’s Festival of Lights display and had to bolt the tires to the ground to make sure the tree stays in place.
The shop said it hopes to construct another tire tree next year, and maybe a few more “characters” around the display.
Tredroc Tire Services focuses on commercial and OTR servicing and tires and has locations in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan.
