Giti Tire (USA) Ltd. will increase the prices of its GT Radial tires as well as other Giti brands by up to 9% in the U.S. and Canada, effective April 1, 2017.
According to Giti, the price increase will affect the tiremaker’s passenger, light truck and medium truck tire product lines. Giti markets and sells brands including GT Radial, Primewell, and Dextero.
Giti said the price increase was made in response to the escalating costs of raw materials, and the rising energy and transportation costs associated with the production and distribution of tires.
