Avon Remoulds Introduces Web site for Retreading Market Customers

Avon Remould Materials (ARM) has launched a website to highlight the range of products it supplies to the retreading market, at www.avonremouldmaterials.com.

Melksham based ARM, a division of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., which also owns and manufactures the Avon Tyre brand, supplies a wide range of rubber compounds, pre-cure tread and calendered fabrics to meet customers’ needs, including tread for use in commercial truck tyre retreading, aircraft tyre retreading materials and sidewall veneer.

The Web site, says ARM, provides customers with the chance to browse different treads, depending on the specification of their vehicle, before they finalise their order. Products featured on the website are split into three sectors – long haul vehicles, pickup and delivery vehicles and tipper trucks. (Tyres & Accessories/Staffordshire, U.K.)

Cosmo Tires to include 40,000-70,000 mileage warranty on all PLT tires

Cosmo will continue its portfolio expansion later this year when it launches its new Gripit X/T, Rockit R/T, and Cosmo Kurrent.

Cosmo Tires, distributed by Tire Group International, has introduced changes to its mileage warranty and road-hazard programs which will now feature a mileage warranty of 40,000-70,000 miles for all passenger and light truck tires offered.

“Our products are over-built and tested on the most rigorous tracks and terrains around the globe and this reflects our investments in manufacturing and quality. Now, all passenger and light truck tires carry Cosmo’s road hazard and mileage warranty ranging from 40,000-70,000 miles," said Dominick Montouri, chief strategy officer of Tire Group International, said.
