WELD Racing has released its new Track Attack rear wheel for the owners of the Gen 6 Camaro to use on the drag strip. The new wheel comes in a 16×10–inch diameter/width (part number 88B-610SB-GM) and features WELD’s unique single beadlock geometry for precise and even clamping force. Each wheel comes with a black anodized center, polished outer rim, and features the Chevrolet Performance logo prominently machined on the beadlock ring.

Working in a licensing partnership with Chevrolet Performance, the new WELD Racing Track Attack rear wheel was developed specifically for the Gen 6 Camaro SS and ZL1 to work with the small rear brake system from Chevrolet Performance (part number 83496515).

“This is the first ever Chevrolet Performance-branded drag wheel. We had strong collaboration between the design and engineering teams at both Chevrolet Performance and WELD Racing,” said Russ O’Blenes, director of engineering for Performance Vehicles, Parts & Motorsports. “The result is a striking and serious single beadlock wheel that proudly bears the names of two industry-leading performance brands.”

The WELD Racing Track Attack rear wheel will be available in late November and sold through WELD Racing authorized distributors. Interested enthusiasts can also contact WELD Racing at 800-788-9353 or visit www.weldwheels.com for more information.
