As had been expected, the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB) has moved its offices from Pacific Grove, Calif., to the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
The move is effective Feb 25.
The association’s new home is at: 1013 Birch St., Falls Church, Va., 22046. The new phone numbers are 877-394-6811 and 703-533-7677, and the new fax number is 703-533-7678.
"It’s beneficial for us as a trade association to be nearer to the various federal agencies, as well as being close to many of the other industry associations we work alongside, including the Tire Industry Association, the Rubber Manufacturers Association, and the American Trucking Associations," said TRIB Managing Director David Stevens.
Stevens, a Washington area resident, was named as TRIB’s new managing director last October following the dismissal of ling-time managing director Harvey Brodsky. At the time of Steven’s appointment, it was widely felt the association headquarters would be moved east.
