The Tire Industry Association is seeking nominations for “Women to Watch in the Tire Industry,” an upcoming special section in the association’s quarterly magazine. The section is designed to highlight achievements of women in the tire industry.
The special section is part of TIA President Freda Pratt-Boyer goal to showcase women’s accomplishments in the tire industry. During November 2014, Pratt-Boyer also proposed the idea of TIA renewing an all female panel at SEMA in 2015
“One of my goals as TIA President is to showcase the accomplishments of women in the tire industry. From tire technicians to company presidents, there are so many women doing amazing work in this male-dominated industry that I felt it was important to feature them in the magazine,” she said.
To nominate a female for recognition fill out an online nomination for online at tireindustry.org or contact Donna Sage at [email protected] or 301-430-7280, ext. 102. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 30, 2015. Self nominations are welcome, TIA said.
