Family-owned and operated Tire Discounters, the nation’s seventh-largest independent tire retailer, was honored with the title of “Best Tire Store of 2018” by the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
The annual competition, which is hosted by the Times Free Press, highlights the best people, places, businesses, eats and arts in Chattanooga, as chosen by the readers. This is the second year in a row Tire Discounters won Best Tire Store.
“We’re incredibly thankful to the loyal customers and growing TD family we have created here in Chattanooga. I am so proud of my team for their devotion and continuing to provide unparalleled customer service,” said Dave Chirello, Tire Discounters’ regional manger.
The company opened its first Chattanooga store in 2015 and has six local stores and two more nearby in Dalton. A new store in Signal Mountain is expected to open in late November, where the company expects to hire about 10-15 local professionals to staff the new store.
“As a family-owned and operated company, we’re proud to hire local professionals to run each of our stores. Chattanooga has warmly welcomed our Tire Discounters family and the TD way, treating customers the way they want to be treated” says Charles Curlee, vice president retail sales.
