Locally owned and operated S&S Tire of Lexington, Ky. has unveiled a unique way to give back to its community by helping five local and national charities. “Caps 4 a Cause” is a new line of pre-packaged universal tire valve stem caps available only at the 13 retail S&S Tire and Auto Service Centers in central Kentucky (Lexington, Nicholasville, Richmond, Winchester, Georgetown, Versailles and Frankfort). The caps come in five colors, each matching a charity, to which S&S Tire will donate the net profits from the sale of each set of caps. The promotion not only financially supports various charities; it also offers customers a unique way to raise awareness daily as they drive down the road with colored caps on their tires, the dealership noted. The charities include: Kentucky Children’s Hospital (royal blue), Wounded Warrior Project (yellow), Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Lexington Chapter (pink), Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Kentuckiana (light blue) and the American Heart Association, Central Kentucky Chapter (red).
