TIA Sets 2013 Board Election, 18 on Ballot

The list of candidates for open spots on the TIA board of directors is set, and the polls have opened for members to cast their ballot.

In all, 18 people are vying for the six open positions on the board, but only four are independent tire dealers.

The six new members will be added to the board for three-year terms. Members can vote through Sept. 1, and the new board members will be installed at TIA’s annual meeting during the upcoming Global Tire Expo/SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

The slate of candidates includes:

• Wayne Croswell of WECnology, Amherst, N.H.

• Lyssa Da Costa of Hercules Tire International, Kitchener, Ont.

• Michael Dembe of Camoplast Solideal, Charlotte, N.C.

• Joe Donehue of Tiremetrix, Brighton, Mich.

• Joseph Henmueller of AMRA/Motorist Assurance Program (MAP), Arlington Heights, Ill.

• Scot Holloway of Bartec USA, Sterling Heights, Mich.

• David Jones of Sonsio Inc., Arvada, Colo.

• Ed Jones of JohnDow Industries, Barberton, Ohio
