TA and Bridgestone Firestone Sign Sales Agreement

Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire has signed a seven-year agreement with TravelCenters of America to sell Bridgestone and Firestone brand commercial tires at sites operated by TA and Petro Stopping Centers.

This agreement also makes Bridgestone the exclusive premium commercial tire offered by both TA and Petro:Lube truck maintenance and repair centers.

“We are thrilled to announce such an unprecedented partnership among Bridgestone Firestone, TravelCenters of America and Petro Stopping Centers,” said Singh Ahluwalia, BFNAT’s president of truck and bus tires. “The truck maintenance and repair shops of both brands are vital to our customer service and growth strategy. The TravelCenters of America and Petro:Lube truckstop network helps us fulfill our promise to our national fleet and owner-operator customers by being more accessible than any other truck tire brand. This exclusive agreement with TA is a real triumph.”

TA operates and franchises both types of stopping centers in 41 states in the U.S. and in Canada. The combined TA and Petro:Lube replacement tire network boasts over 230 locations, over 950 service bays, nearly 2,800 technicians and 400 road service vehicles, according to BFNAT.
