SimpleTire Expands Free Shipping Offer

SimpleTire is expanding its free shipping offer on items from its catalog with no minimum required. This applies to orders delivered to a home, business or local tire store for installation.

SimpleTire is expanding its free shipping offer on items from its catalog with no minimum required. This applies to orders delivered to a home, business, or local tire store for installation.

The offer takes effect immediately and applies across all categories ranging from Passenger, Light Truck, Commercial, and Agriculture, to OTR, Industrial, ATV, Antique, and various specialties. SimpleTire’s free shipping initiative is a compelling offer in online retailing and is one of the first in the industry that allows customers to ship tires anywhere within the contiguous U.S. without restrictions.

“Online shoppers don’t expect to get free shipping on tires due to their large size and weight. With our business model, we’re able to ship to any location in the U.S., at no cost to the customer,” said SimpleTire CEO Andy Chalofsky.

SimpleTire’s low-cost, high-volume business model supports and links over 2,000 local distributors and installers across the country into one seamless data network. This network of suppliers feeds SimpleTire with real-time data on available inventory, which is consistently updated on SimpleTire.com.

“We know from research and ongoing customer feedback that free shipping is a top priority of consumers. Last year, we saw an immediate increase in sales when we first offered free shipping on popular tires. This year, we have worked diligently to include free shipping within all of our categories,” added Chalofsky.

With over 2,000 shipping points across the U.S. and access to live inventory data on such a large scale, SimpleTire is able to eliminate logistics costs and increase the speed of delivery—getting tires to customers faster than traditional e-tailers and helping its network of constituents grow their business through ecommerce sales.
