Seeking to gain better insight into tire shipment activities in the U.S., the RMA has launched a program to collect data from a number of overseas tiremakers.
As of now, five Chinese tiremakers and one Singapore producer have signed on for the program, and Taiwan’s Cheng Shin/Maxxis is considering joining the group.
Now providing tire shipment data to the RMA are Double Coin Holdings/CMA, Aeolus Tyre Co., Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co., Giti Tire Co., Shandong Linglong Rubber Co., and Triangle Group Co.
The RMA currently collects tire shipment data from direct members (Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Cooper, Toyo, Continental, Yokohama and Pirelli), as well as from Falken, Kumho and Hankook.
