In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Radar Tires, of Singapore-based Omni United, will be hitting the road this October, hosting events at tire dealerships across the country in support of "Mobilizing Hope."
Mobilizing Hope is the Radar brand’s partnership effort with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Earlier this year, Omni United pledged a donation of $1 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for each set of four Radar RPX800 and DIMAX tires sold over the next year, with a committed minimum annual donation of $250,000 and a goal of raising $1 million.
Now Omni United is taking its campaign on the road to its affiliated retailers in Alabama (Airport Salvage), Arkansas (Discount Tire & Brake), Florida (The Tire Choice), Michigan (Budget Tire Center), Nebraska (Walker Tire), New Jersey (American Tire & Auto Care), Ohio (Grismer Tire & Auto Service), Tennessee (Raleigh Tire), Texas (Youngblood Tire & Auto), Virginia (Harris Tire), West Virginia (Tirelady’s Rainbow Tire), and Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia (TireVan).
“Our partnership with the BCRF has engaged everyone at Omni,” said G.S. Sareen, president and CEO of Omni United. “We are delighted and grateful that so many distributors and retailers of Radar tires are supporting our Mobilizing Hope initiative in their local communities. Their help is instrumental to make it a success."
