Turkish tiremaker Petlas Tire Industry & Trade Co. has expanded its winter tire range with new sizes and a new tire targeting SUVs.

Petlas added 10 new sizes – 17- and 18-inch wheel diameter – to its Snowmaster E601 and Snowmaster W651 lines. Those two tires, Petlas said, now cover 70 sizes over 13- through 18-inch wheels.

New is the Petlas Explero W671, which is now available in 25 sizes over 15- through 19-inch wheel diameters. With T-, H- and V-rated sizes, the Explero W671 delivers “increased grip and braking performance on snowy and icy roads,” and the tire “guarantees superior cornering performance and an excellent ride on tough weather conditions.”
